Johnson Controls announced their expansion of product offerings in their Surveillance camera line as well as their Fire Sprinkler line.
Surveillance Camera
The Surveillance Camera is provided by Tyco Illustra. The offering will be a “Flex multi-directional camera” which is considered a cost-effective solution and is a multi-directional camera with four image sensors. The four image sensors can 360° coverage with four separate video streams.
Fire Sprinkler
The Fire Sprinkler is a Tyco RFII horizontal sidewall (HSW) which is designed to provide dependable fire protection. The Fire Sprinkler provides a discreet, concealed design with a customizable, decorative flat cover plate which hides the sprinklers within a wall.
According to Johnson Controls the sprinkler systems feature “an ordinary sprinkler temperature rating of 160 °F (71 °C), alongside a 139 °F (38 °C) rated cover plate. An intermediate temperature rated sprinkler with a temperature rating of 212 °F (100 °C) is also being offered, alongside a 165 °F (74 °C) cover plate.”
