Account Executive

The Opportunity: 

Mackenzie Ryan is searching for an innovative, yet pragmatic individual to jump headfirst into a dual business development and recruiting role as an Account Executive. The goal is to establish and/or build upon a full desk; with chief responsibility being the generation of and subsequent delivery on new business within an established vertical. Our “product” as a recruiting firm is human capital, so you will undoubtedly need to love working with and around people, a lot. You will also be spending quite a bit of time on the phone (so hopefully you enjoy it!). 

On top of that, our compensation plan is truly uncapped (salary plus commission), and our top performers earn in excess of $250,000.00 annually. Would you enjoy company-paid vacations? Our top earners have been to Hawaii, Punta Cana, and the Bahamas for rewards trips over the past couple of years.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Research/market analysis of your industry vertical that leads to daily marketing activity (email, telephone) 
  • Conduct 50+ outbound telephone calls into key decision makers in your industry
  • Negotiate contract/fee structure and manage key relationship with hiring authorities and Human Resources customer base 
  • Leverage social and professional media to access passive candidate market and generate sales leads
  • Attend relevant trade shows and industry seminars to generate new business  
  • Identify and recruit top talent 
  • Pre-screen and qualify candidates for client requirements 
  • Serve as primary liaison between candidates and clients

What You Need to Bring to the Table: 

  • Previous Recruiting or Sales experience (Very attractive, but also not mandatory. We will train you!) 
  • Creative thinking and ability to improvise when needed 
  • Polished, professional telephone presence 
  • Presentation experience with PowerPoint/Keynote and WebEx (Screen Sharing)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal  
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce.com, etc.) 
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment 
  • NOTE: 3-5 years of Recruiting or Sales expertise in an inside or outside sales environment is HIGHLY ATTRACTIVE. A Bachelor’s Degree is as well, but certainly not required
